ATTRACTIONS
Round Tower
Built as an observatory in 1642, with a spiral ramp inside so the king could ride up in his horse and carriage. I went to the top (later) for a view of the city.
Tivoli Gardens
Copenhagen's amusement park was built in 1843, and is right in the center of downtown. This is the 3rd of 3 groups of performers here (along with various musical and other events elsewhere in the park). The girl at the top was just catapulted up there from the springboard on the right. The 2 previous shows on this stage included gymnasts specializing in handstands, and a ventriloquist.
Frederiksborg Castle
This is the fountain, with statue, in front of the castle. The statue at the top is a reproduction, the original was taken by Sweden and is now at Drottningholm Castle in Sweden (you'll see it later).
Kronborg (Elsinore) Castle
Shakespeare's Hamlet was written about this castle. I didn't get inside, I got there too late (I left our tour group at Hillerød and came here on my own - the rest of the group went directly back to Copenhagen).

Viking Ship Museum
One of the 5 ships excavated from the bottom of the Roskilde fjord.
Hans Christian Andersen House
Hans Christian Andersen was born in this town, and lived in the house at the end of the street, which is now a museum.
